January 11, 1949
Holy Cross beats Loyola of Chicago 59-58 on Bob Cousy’s left-hand hook shot with nine seconds left in the game. To get open for his winning shot, Cousy executes what he later says is the first behind-the-back dribble he ever employed in a game.
